January 2018 - Pride of America
John and I want to thank you for helping us plan our awesome Hawaiian vacation and for the welcome home goodie basket (which I broke into right away - it held me over till I could get to the grocery store)! The trip was everything we imagined and we would highly recommend it to others. Wow, what a difference it made to have a suite on the Pride of America vs a cabin w/balcony that is more typical for us.
Thank you again for all your assistance. We'll be sure to reach out to you as we plan our next trip.

January 2018 - Secrets Capri
Yes we did have an amazing time. We were able to use the spa certificate. Although the first person I asked told me I couldn't use it towards massages, and then I asked a different person the second day and they said yes absolutely.
1. The most memorable part of the vacation was probably the night time entertainment/shows as well as all the AMAZING food.
2. I would definitely recommend this tour package to other people
3. some of the things I liked best was the entertainment. there was a show almost every night and they were VERY good! I really liked how you did NOT need to make a reservation at the "specialty" restaurants, it made dinning very convenient. Also the extensive drink menu with top shelf liquor. I also liked how for lunch you had multiple options as far as buffet, cactus caffe or one of the other specialty restaurants that did lunch. all the food was AMAZING. the pool side service for food and drinks was also fantastic! one of my other absolute FAVORITE parts was the outdoor movie under the stars, perfect for a night when you don't feel like doing much. it was also great to be recognized as honeymooners on their daily welcome letter that everyone received each day.
4. we did 3 excursions- visit to Chichen Itza, we did a second that included visiting Tulum, snorkeling in a lagoon and going into the cynote, and we did a snorkeling catamaran cruise. All 3 excursions were with Cancun Adventures. Seeing on the the 7 wonders of the world was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and our tour guide was extremely informative. I was disappointed with the snorkeling/catamaran cruise. They packed too many people onto 3 boats and we all unloaded at the same site, it was WAY too crowded. I would not recommend to go on that excursion.
5. I loved all the restaurants! even the buffet, If I had to pick one it would be either the Japanese, or the last night they turned the "Mexican" into a steak house menu.
6. I would recommend the resort to others
7. I would not having done the catamaran snorkeling cruise. I would have found a smaller one. and I would have made a trip to isla de mujeres
8. No problems at all! thanks so much.
January 2018 - Atlantis Resort - Bahamas
Thanks for touching base with us after our trip. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Thank you so much for your help with planning our trip. We really had a great time. I attached a picture of the dolphin experience we did which was the coolest thing we've ever done together.
The most memorable thing we did was definitely the dolphin experience. Was cool to be in their environment and interact with them. Was well worth the money.
Yes I would recommend this package to others.
We like the property. Was very spacious and lots of things to do. We spent a good bit of time in the casino.
Excursions- We did the dolphin experience and we also did a dinner cruise. We were disappointed in the dinner cruise and probably wouldn't do again. But the weather didn't help as it was cold and rainy.
Our favorite restaurant was Mosaic. We went there for breakfast twice. Best breakfast buffet we have ever been to.
We would recommend the dolphin experience. The dinner cruise is probably better when the weather is warmer. Food was just ok.
If we took this trip again we would go when the weather is consistently warmer. We knew this was a gamble when we booked it. It wasn't necessarily the temps...it was the wind. It made swimming almost impossible. We would definitely want to bring our kids when they get a little older.
No we didn't have any major problems.
Overall it was a fun trip. We underestimated how tiring traveling is. I don't think next time we will do a 6am flight...lol. When we got there the 1st day we had only gotten 90min of sleep from the previous night and ended up going to bed at 6:30pm. haha. It was nice to have some kid free time and 4 nights was the perfect amount of time away, we were ready to get home to them after that.
December 2017 - Universal & Disney Parks
Hi, we did have a great trip and thank you for all your help!
1. What was the most memorable part of your vacation? Probably the new rides we did at the parks (Avatar, the Harry Potters)
2. Would you recommend this resort property to others? Yes, it was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy or extravagant, but that was fine for us.
3. What park did you like best? They all have something different or unique, so loved each one the same.
4. Did you participate in any extra activities out of the main parks? No, dinner at Disney Springs. Walked around the shops. They had live Christmas music and the decorations were beautiful.
5. Was there a particular restaurant that you would recommend? We did Rain Forest Café, Margaritaville, T-Rex, Hard Rock. All fun themes to them, and good service for being so busy. We ate at the bar at Rain Forest because we couldn’t get a table reservation. Kids are allowed, which saved us from missing a late fastpass and doing the Avatar rides.
6. If you were to take this trip again, what changes would you make? I would not go a peak travel time. Since that was our only option, we made sure we hit the big attractions right away. I would pack more snacks and water. The lines to get food were very long and the prices are crazy for a bottle of water.
7. Did you have any problems that we can help with? No – even though you told us to read our travel docs, we did not. Glad you were available on a Sunday to bail us out of paying full price for Universal tickets.
October 2017 - Sandals Regency LaToc, St. Lucia
We had a GREAT time and as always it's been a pleasure working with you! Thanks for helping us with check-in the week before and we absolutely loved Sandals - would definitely recommend to anyone. Please see my responses to your questions below :).
Thank you again for everything and we will be in touch!
1. What was the most memorable part of your vacation? Our dune buggy excursion and learning how to sail a hobie at the resort
2. Would you recommend Sandals Regency to others, likes/dislikes? Absolutely, very relaxing with plenty to do
3. Did you participate in any excursions/extra activities that you would recommend to others? Yes, the dune buggy / mud bath / waterfall / lunch tour was amazing (but not for the faint of heart, they would need to be an adrenaline junkie for sure)
4. Was there a particular restaurant that you would recommend? La Toc the French Restauraunt was amazing, if we went back we would try to reserve more nights there. We also liked the Pitons restaurant.
5. If you were to take this trip again, what changes would you make? We would try to get a balcony - our view was spectacular
6. Did you get any complimentary upgrades or amenities due to the VIP letter that I sent to the resort? Not sure about upgrades - they did give us a bottle of champagne when we arrived
7. Did you have any problems that I can help with? The only discrepancy was an $80 charge on our bill for internet - the resort handled it prior to our departure through!
September 2017 - Pacific Princess - 19 days Swiss Splendors and Lake Como -7 day land trip Zurich-to Venice land trip then 12 days Venice to Venice cruise
We have cruised with Princess four times, and have never been disappointed in their service and attention to detail. The ships are beautiful, even the older ones, and they keep them spotless. While in port, it's not uncommon to see workers painting the hull, refitting lines, and performing general maintenance on the exterior of the ship. The interior is always very clean, too. Their staff is constantly cleaning windows, wiping down handrails and policing the floors for spills and dirt. I like that....
Probably the most impressive characteristic about cruising with Princess is their customer service. "Just ask and it shall be done" should be their motto. They are polite and courteous, even when the situation might be a little tense with the passenger, and believe me, some passengers can test one's patience. ;)
They exceed my expectations when it comes to providing service. For example, during our cruise, I had a problem with Achilles tendonitis. Each night after walking for most of the day on an excursion, my ankle would swell up and ache terribly. One morning, I asked our cabin steward for a bucket of ice and told him there was no rush since I was heading out on an excursion that morning. He immediately went to the galley and filled my bucket and brought it back to me. I guess he thought I wanted to use it for a cold drink, so he wanted to make sure I had it quickly. I put it in the freezer and had it that night for soaking my swollen ankle in the bathroom sink. It's a small thing, but little things really do mean a lot.
I've traveled with Norwegian and Celebrity also, and while they are very nice too, I always seem to want to come back to Princess. Princess seems to be more customer-service driven than what I've seen in my limited experience with the others. I've never cruised with Royal Caribbean, but I would expect they are top-notch as well..
I guess that's about it. I'll be cruising with Princess again in the future. It's what floats my boat! ;) (Pun intended)
September 2017 - Crystal River Cruise
What was the most memorable part of your vacation
It was all pretty memorable. We wouldn't pick one thing. Each stop had its own unique qualities.
Would you recommend this cruise line to others? Yes, but it is pricy, so it depends on whether the extras are worth it to the travellers.
What did you like best about the cabin? Good sized bathroom and usable shower.
What port did you like best? Again, they were all interesting in their own way. Probably Budapest and Durnstein made the most impression.
Did you participate in any shore excursions that you recommend? We did practically all the available excursions (i.e., one of several available at each stop).
How did you feel the service was compared to other trips you have taken? Stupendous, given the ratio of staff to passengers. Very high class (but you pay...)
If you were to take this trip again, what changes would you make? Not much.
Did you have any problems that we can help with? Not really
The onboard food was outstanding, especially dinner. The private Vienna concert was a really excellent experience. The Michelin dinner was interesting, but given the underlying cost, not worth it (frankly, for us unsophisticated types the ship food was really much more preferable).
July 2016 – Grand Palladium Palace, Punta Cana
The vacation was great. The resort is gorgeous and the lobby, rooms, restaurants and pool are pretty much right on the beach.
The rooms were very nice and clean. Their design for the bathroom was a little strange and every time you showered the bathroom flooded. It was gorgeous but not a practical design.
The food was just OK. Lots of choices but in my opinion was ok. Nobody went hungry and found stuff but more than half our party had stomach issues at some point during the week, and we were not drinking the tap water. We were using the bottled water they provided.
The restaurants were good, better than the buffet, but you could not make reservations. I am used to meeting with a representative on arrival and making reservations for the week but they did not do it that way here. But you had to arrive when they opened- so send someone to the restaurant at 5, to get put on a list. If you just showed up the wait was very long or you were just not going to get a seating.
We did an excursion. A speed boat to a lagoon where there were star fish you could hold. Then a trip to a private island with about 20 other boats with people doing same excursion. Lunch and open bar included, and then a catamaran ride back to the buses. I liked it very much and would recommend it. I did fall at the end of the excursion coming out of the bathroom in the parking lot before we got on the buses. Very poorly marked steps. So I fell, I did break a bone in my foot and tore ligaments in my ankle. Did not seek medical care there. They let me use a wheelchair and gave me an ace bandage. That happened Thursday and we left Sunday. Monday morning went to urgent care here and got the not surprising news about my foot. But I would still recommend the excursion, just watch those steps by the bano.
This was my fist time in the Dominican Republic - we have always done Mexico in the past. Again, had a blast but would do Mexico next time. Staff was not as eager to help and seemed to expect tips more than in Mexico. The drinks they offered at the pool and swim up bar were very limited and it was impossible to get served unless you flashed money. And, they were very watered down. If you ordered a Pina Calada you would have to ask for the alcohol or you would get the mix only. That depended on the bartender but the service was not good. So, would not go back there again.
Our group is already talking about our next all inclusive trip in a few years, probably 2018. That will be back to Mexico for sure.
I would use your services again for that trip and other future trips. I will be in touch about that one and hopefully have a completely healed foot and ankle by then.
Thank you for all your help is setting up our trip. Our group enjoyed is very much.
July 2016 – Majestic Elegance, Punta Cana
First of all let us say that your travel agency was by far the best we've dealt with. Everything was so professionally done and every
detail thought of. All of your people were friendly and extremely helpful. You responded so quickly to any silly question I had,
it surprised me. But nothing was more surprising than the gift of wine and toppers you sent to us on our return. Incredibly
thoughtful and great job! We'll call you every time we travel. Thank you so much for the experience.
1. Most memorable part of our vacation was the Majestic Resort and wonderful employees who took care of us.
2. We'd absolutely recommend this package. It was flawless.
3. It was a great value. From the great itinerary we received to the air port shuttles, everything was so well planned and stress free.
4. No excursions. We've done most excursions around Punta Cana during previous visits through Apple Tours and just chose not to this time.
5. We found all the restaurants to be excellent, the best food we've had in the Dominican, and we've been 5 or 6 times!
Itallian, Japanese, French and Outdoor Seafood were the most notable.
7. Nothing really. Bring our adult kids next time would be nice
8. No problems at all
Again, many thanks for making our vacation perfect.

July 2016 - Avalon River cruise with Normandy extension
First of all thank you for the lovely gift we received today. The trip was one of the best we have taken. Loved the river boat and would do it again. There was more tan one special place. We loved Prague and Louxenbourg ?. Would definitely recommend to others. We only took a couple extra trips cause we enjoyed the boat. The best part was that there were only 38 people on board which made it great cause we spent a lot of time with the other travelers. The cruise director and crew were great. There is not much I would change. We did have some problems with our Normandy trip but the Avalon representative handled it for us. Again thank you and hope we will do another trip sometime.
June 2016 - Canada
Thank you so much for making our Canadian vacation so wonderful. Attached are a few pictures for your enjoyment. The first is us outside of the "Red Jammer" we rode on through Glacier National Park. That was a wonderful excursion. The next is us at a waterfall around Banff. Finally, we did see a Grizzly Bear as we were going down the road. That was an amazing sight not normally seen by all.
Also thank you very much for the wine gift package we found upon our return. It was a delightful gift we will enjoy.

June 2016 - Grand Palladium Palace
I'm glad you sent this email. I had wanted to email you when we got back but things got busy. We had a great time in Punt Cana The resort was beautiful and our rooms were awesome! Sheila and Ken were given a room with two double beds and a pull out sofa so that was upsetting to Sheila. Her daughter and two other girls were supposed to be in a triple room but were in just a room with two beds. Sheila switched with the girls so that each had their own place to sleep. The management didn't seem to want to help. I believe they told Sheila that if she was to change rooms there would be a charge.
Robert and I had a great room! Our rooms were sort of scattered all around in a quad. It would have been nice if our rooms were closer. It seems that the help was either really good or poor. That was how it was throughout the resort. At the swim up bar there was a bartender that was totally awesome! At the buffets, it was a toss up as to whether or not the servers were attentive enough to keep your water cup full. The food in general was average. The Brazilian steak house was good, but the other restaurants were average. Many in our group ended up with some sort of stomach issue. Not sure if it was the water or the food.
The representative for Fun Jet was not helpful at all. Initially he seemed eager to help us with whatever. I asked him about the voucher/ticket for our dinner that was pre-reserved and he told me to go ask at the front desk. At our first meeting, I asked him if he would be able to help us with another reservation and he told me to come back the next day at a certain time and he would see what he could do. I went back at the time he told me and he basically acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. Sheila fell while we were on an excursion and hurt her ankle. The next day it was evident that her ankle was worse than initially thought. I went to Cesar to see if he could help us with getting either a wheel chair or crutches and if he could arrange for a wheel chair at the airport in Punta Cana and a wheel chair at BWI. Again he passed me off to the front desk. I was really disappointed with Cesar and his lack of assistance while we were there.
We all talked about our trip and agreed that we the resort was beautiful and things were centrally located around our rooms. The beach was beautiful and very close to our rooms. So we all said that if we were to go back to Punta Cana we would have to stay someplace different. During our stay, the AC went out in our daughter's room. Unfortunately she didn't tell us until Saturday. She called the front desk multiple times to request maintenance. Each time they said they would send someone. I talked to the front desk Saturday evening and they assured me it was going to be taken care of that evening. Sunday morning I found out that they never fixed it. I filed a complaint and the air got fixed as we were checking out. I did fill out a formal complaint and I have not heard anything back from them.
Thank you for the wine basket! I didn't get an opportunity to taste the wine because my daughter drank it all! We all talked about doing another trip in 2018. If you have any great suggestions please share!
June 2016 - Tauck Reflections River Cruise
We liked Tauck before we traveled and liked them even more during and after the trip. Prague to Vienna or Vienna to Prague?
As much as we loved Prague, Vienna is tough to beat. We liked it more than Paris. River Cruise was terrific.Yes I would definitely recommend a extra day in Prague and one or two extra days in Vienna. Always remember in Vienna that most museums are closed on Mondays and most shops are closed on Sunday.
Jewish Quarters in Prague-would recommend the private tour. You see more and get more information.Went to the opera in Vienna as well as the symphony. Would recommend booking the opera months before the trip. Had no pro9blem getting tickets to the symphony. Symphony Hall is absolutely magnificent.
Physical issues, I had trouble in some areas because of the steep inclines. Cobble stone side walks and roads do not make it any easier.
Most memorable moment, Tauck's farewell dinner in Vienna-WOW!!!
Weather-Cold in Prague;unusually warm in Vienna (60's in Prague;high 80's to 91 in Vienna.Great trip-blessed to be able to do it.
May 2016 - Azamara Quest
Azamara is highly recommended, 670 passengers and 400 crew . Crew and food A1. Took side trips in most ports which were well done with good guides. While good they do overcharge for these as expected. Some folks make their own arrangements to avoid this. Favorite stop has to be St. Petersburg. Was there 25 years ago, now very different. Clean streets, modern busses, friendly natives, and so much to see. Was told this is Putin's home city so well kept. One suggestion, when sending passengers thru Heathrow and most airports these days, 2 hours to change flights is not enough. I know you received info that we are on Azamara in March 2017. When payment is due we have a credit from the last trip to apply because they missed one port and gave us 1/6th of the first trip as a credit. Thanks for the basket of goodies which arrived on our return. Nice touch!!!
January 2016 – Charleston, SC
We took a shuttle to the hotel from the airport - $28 vs. $30+ for a cab ride – but if we were to go back, I think I would take a cab or make arrangements ahead of time vs. next available shuttle. The standard 15 minute wait wasn’t bad, but the van was full, so a little cramped being in the very back, had stops along the way, and had to shuffle around at each stop. When we were to leave, our concierge made arrangements with a different company – Journey Transportation – and it was a much nicer trip back – the driver was early and waiting for us, he was pleasant and more professional than the other company’s driver, the van was cleaner, and it was just us.
The Mills House at Wyndham Grand – it was a great hotel! It was very clean, and from the minute the cab dropped us off at the front, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The location was central to many areas of the city - right on the edge of the Historic District so it was easy to walk through the many historic neighborhoods, and to museums operated by the Historic Charleston Foundation. We toured the Nathaniel Russell House with a live docent, where the décor and furnishings were totally renovated to the period which the Russell family lived there, and the Aiken-Rhett House with a self-guided audio tour, which is not refurbished at all, and the bare furnishings were actually those of the Aiken and Rhett families, unlike the previous house. We also toured The Old Exchange Building & Provost Dungeon, also with a live docent, which historically and visually was an interesting museum.
Our children gave us gift certificates for a couple of restaurants, and they both were excellent – breakfast at Hominy Grill to the north (which was a hefty walk but well worth it and a lot to see and do to the north), and dinner at Slightly North of Broad (S.N.O.B.) to the east. Twice we had a delicious breakfast at Eli’s Table, which is just a block north of the hotel, nice menu choices besides just the usual bacon and eggs. We had dinner at Poogan’s Porch one evening, which was out the side door of the hotel, and again – wonderful meals there! It was restaurant week in Charleston, so we took advantage of it for two dinners out, a good way to sample the menus, and the choices available were part of their regular menus, so that was nice. There was a restaurant in the hotel, which looked to have a nice menu, but we ventured out every day, so didn’t take the opportunity to eat there except to have a kale salad sent to our room one evening – which was good.
So if any of your clients want to visit the city of Charleston and would like some recommendations, here are a few.
Take care, and thank you (and Stephanie and your staff) for all you have done for us travel-wise!!

December 2015 – Excellence Playa Mujeres
Thanks so much for recommending the Excellence Resort in Playa Mujeres. EPM was absolutely the Best all-inclusive that we have ever experienced. We encountered no problems with the entire trip. Everyone treated us great including Southwest, Lomas Travel and especially everyone we encountered at EPM. The entire resort was spotless, our oceanfront suite was fabulous and everything we ate was delicious.
We enjoyed the resort so much that we did not do any off-site excursions. Unfortunately, I got a cold on day 2, so I did not do any scuba diving although there were plenty of options with Lomas and AquaWorld (who provided all water sport options for EPM). We did do a 2 hour AquaWorld snorkeling trip to a nearby reef that was really great.
We would definitely recommend EPM to others along with the upgrade to the Excellence Club. The personalized Excellence Club check-in, concierge, lounge, Hydro Massage and other services were well worth the reasonable cost for the upgrade.
EPM accommodated both of the requests that you noted in the VIP letter that you sent. When we were escorted to our suite (on the 3rd floor in building 8A as we requested) the door was draped with a banner that said Happy Anniversary. When we entered we found the room decorated with rose peddles and champagne and fresh fruit was waiting for us. The complimentary Anniversary Package also included a breakfast in bed, an additional Hydro Massage followed with a Neck and Shoulder massage and a romantic candle lit dinner on the beach. We upgraded the massage to a full body couples massage that was absolutely amazing. Our private dinner was on our last night with great food, wine and live saxophone background music. Natalie and I both agreed that this was the high point of our week.
We cannot think of a single thing we would change when we do this trip again, and we definitely will be doing it again!
We will be doing a detailed review for Trip Advisor and I’ll send you a copy when it’s done. We will certainly be in touch with you for our future travel needs. (Thank Howard for the great travel agent recommendation.)
Thanks Again for all your efforts,
Dick & Natalie
December 2015 – Grand Sunset Princess
Thank you so much for the gift basket. It is very, very nice.
I also want to thank you for planning our trip - everything worked out great. Thanks again from me and my family - we ran into no problems and the few questions we had the Apple Vacation People helped us..... Thanks again, Dorothy
December 2015 – Iberostar Bavaro
Hi. Everything went smoothly and we had a wonderful time. Of course, the most memorable part was that we were all together. We all loved that. The place is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, the people very friendly. The pool was nice but cold so the adults really did not use it. We went to the beach a lot. It was very relaxing. There was a lot of food of all kinds. None of that thrilled us .However, on Xmas eve they had a beautiful buffet with an abundance of seafood. Three of us went to town on that. Some of the family went zip lining and swam with the dolphins. They loved that. The ambiance of the restaurants was nice, the people were lovely. However, most times when you asked for something, it never came.- at all restaurants. For instance, potatoes without butter- yes, yes, yes-- never came. Most places made Joanna special meals. Jack and I got a bottle of champagne. We might choose to go back, but the others wouldn't. There was not enough to do. The kids were the wrong ages for the clubs. The teen 13_18- started at 11PM. The shows were okay but racy- sexy costumes. Nobody wanted to go to the shows with me- so we played cards in the room together. Hope this helps. Thanks for everything you did. Happy and Healthy New Year. Rena
December 2015 – Dreams Sugar Bay, St. Thomas
We had a blast on the trip. The hotel was nice and had some gorgeous views. Everyone that worked on the staff was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. They were great in helping us coordinate taxis for our day trips as well. The food at the resort was good but could have used more variety. The menus were the same each day and some of the restaurants only had a handful of options to choose from so I would have loved to see more variety in that. They had bingo each day at the pool which we loved and at night they had a DJ in the lobby bar but other than that there weren’t many activities for people to do at the resort. We would have loved for them to maybe have some live music or just more organized activities. They did have trivia one night but it lasted for about 15 minutes and wasn’t well organized. On Thursday night they did have Carnival Night and that was a lot of fun – they had food by the pool, a band, fire dancers, and an extra bar set up. We would have loved to have done that a few times during the week rather than just the one night.
On trip advisor in advance many of the reviews basically inferred that the resort was terrible but we didn’t feel that at all. We had a great time, our room was nice and clean and cleaned and restocked every day, all the staff was nice, the pool and beach areas were clean and comfortable, we had no problems getting beach towels or drinks. When reading those reviews I feel like those people weren’t even at the same resort as us because they are so outlandish! There was some construction going on, on the property but none of it interfered with our trip we just occasionally saw people painting walls or fixing sidewalks which never bothered us because we know they are trying to make the resort as nice as possible.
What was the most memorable part of the trip? The 2 day trips that we took to St. John & St. Croix and the views from our room.
Would you recommend this destination to others? Yes! We had a wonderful time and it was so nice to easily access the other islands.
Were there any excursions that you would recommend to others? We did 2 excursions but they were done individually not through a tour. 1. We took the Ferry to St John, stopped by the visitor center and hiked the Lindt Point Trail to an overlook with an amazing view of Cruz Bay – we then continued on the trail to Honeymoon Beach. Here we were able to rent snorkel gear, kayaks, chairs, and more. They also had a snack bar and small gift shop. We continue our hike up towards Caneel Bay, grabbed a taxi and headed back into town and wandered around Mongoose Junction and then enjoyed lunch at The Tap Room which is a local brewery with great beer and food. Then we went back towards ferry dock and had drinks at The Beach Bar. 2. We took Cape Air commuter plane over to St. Croix. After a 20 minute flight we grabbed a taxi and headed to Fredericksted. Here we did an ATV Tour of the rainforest through Geckos Island Adventures. We were able to share an ATV and it was about 1.5 hours through the forest to some great sugar ruins, overlooks, and more. We ended at Rainbow Beach and enjoyed lunch and drinks at Rhythms at Rainbow Beach a restaurant with the most amazing view we have ever seen. The food was amazing – I would go back there in a heartbeat.
If you were to take this trip again, what changes would you make? We would probably stay on St. John and do more hiking and snorkeling and probably plan some day trips over to the British Virgin Islands.
Did you have any problems that we can help with? No we had a great time!
Did you get any complimentary upgrades or amenities due to the VIP letter that I sent to the resort? Yes upon arrival we went to check in and they redirected us to the VIP Services where we were upgraded to the Premium Club. They got us a room with an ocean view, access to the premium club room with extra snacks and a personal bartender. They also put a banner on our door to let everyone know we were celebrating our honeymoon. We also got a voucher to use at any point on our trip for a bottle of sparkling wine.
November 2015 – Grandeur of the Seas
First, thank you for the Thanksgiving gift we received from you upon our return!
Second, thank you and your staff for handling everything associated with our recent Royal Caribbean cruise out of Baltimore so professionally. From our first phone call until our return every contact - face-to-face meetings, phone calls, emails, etc. - with you and your staff was handled promptly and to our full satisfaction. This was our second experience with Diana’s Destination and is not likely to be our last.
Our Royal Caribbean Cruise, Nov. 11 - 21, 2015, departed on time from Baltimore. We were blessed with good weather and only one day of rough seas. We had previously sailed with Royal Caribbean, Grandeur of the Seas, on a New England / Canada cruise in 2014 and were familiar with the ship. This was an anniversary celebration cruise. Our traveling companions, Charlie & Ann Carpenter celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 19, Josie and I will celebrate our 51st anniversary on Thanksgiving Day.
Royal Caribbean excelled in the following areas:
• Boarding and disembarking
• Super attentive and friendly staff
• Headliner shows
• Our balcony staterooms were reasonably roomy and comfortable
o We enjoyed being able to check the weather, watch sunrises and sunsets from the comfort and privacy of our room
We were not overly excited with the ports-of-call, Labadee, Haiti; San Juan, P.R.; Charlotte Amalie, U.S>V.I.; and Philipsburg, St. Maarten. But we knew this in advance, none of us are into zip lining, beach activity, etc. We were interested in having a relaxing time in warm weather and from that perspective we were not disappointed. The ship excursion’s for special activities are probably worthwhile, however, we found a private taxi was cheaper, more comfortable, and overall more enjoyable than being herded onto crowded buses.
Labadee is Royal Caribbean's private resort in Haiti. We stayed onboard and enjoyed having the ship virtually to ourselves! Talking to folks who visited Labadee convinced us we had made a great decision.
San Juan - we took ship’s sponsored old and new city tour and were very disappointed, in part because the area was engulfed in a major traffic tie-up. The tour included a 1/2 hr. tour of Castillo de San Cristobal and a drive through the old city. Even without the traffic problems this tour didn’t live up to it’s expectations. If we were to do it again, we would get a taxi ride up the rather steep hills of the old city and take our time criss-crossing a walk back to the docks. Our San Juan stay was saved with a visit to Señor Frog’s restaurant. Señor Frog definitely caters to the cruise ships, but was a fun place to go. The burgers were very good and the service friendly. Our waitress gave us a hand-written “coupon” for 4 free Margarita’s in Charlotte Amalie!
Charlotte Amalie - we took a private taxi for an island tour. Not only was this 1/2 price ($25 pp including tip for a 2 hr. tour) over the ship’s excursions, we had the luxury of only the 4 of us in a comfortable mini SUV and a driver who catered to our wishes. After the tour we stopped at Señor Frog’s which was located right next to the ship. To our surprise they honored our hand-written coupon and we enjoyed several Margarita’s before re-boarding the ship.
Philipsburg - we again took a private taxi for a mountain tour of the island including the French district. Our driver gave us a 1/2 hr. to go shopping, since we weren’t interested in shopping and some in our party had problems walking too much we only took 15 minutes. We ate on the beach and took the water taxi back to the ship.
We split our meals between the formal dining room and the buffet. We did not participate in the 2 formal dining evenings. We did go to the specialty steak house and enjoyed filet mignon and complimentary lobster tail for the Carpenter’s anniversary.
There was a medical emergency on board that forced an unexpected stop at Norfolk on the way back. This turned out to be a bonus for us as we got to see our naval fleet, including at least 2 small aircraft carrier’s, docked in the Elizabeth River. The ship tied up in Norfolk for 4 or 5 hrs. refueling. This did not cause any delays in our return.
We enjoyed the cruise and convenience of sailing out of Baltimore and recommend this trip to anyone who wants a relaxing time on the open seas. The 6 days of cruising from and return to Baltimore was enjoyable for us, The first day out and last day back were chilly cruising down and up the Chesapeake.
One minor disappointment we had was the drink prices. Last year on our New England cruise on the same ship, there was a discounted “drink of the day” and “buckets of beer” that was not offered on this trip.
October 2015 - NOW Sapphire
The honeymoon was nothing short of relaxing! I'll fill you in on some of the details in case someone is looking to stay there. The service was absolutely incredible, every 20 mins they were refreshing our drinks or getting us something we needed and all very pleasant. I guess we went on an "off time" too because it was not crowded at all, no pool chair game we had our pick of the lot every day we went. We did the "preferred" guest option which i recommend for the price. We had access to the adults only pool which had the Bali beds and was a little more quiet than the main pool which had all the activities taking place (water aerobics, zumba, pool bar etc.), we preferred the adults pool. There were also reserved beach chairs right outside our building for preferred members only, although also not crowded.
Of all the resorts I have been too this has been the BEST food yet. Maybe because it is a bit more Americanized but everything was incredible. We had a sit down dinner almost every night, French, Mediterranean, Mexican and Hibachi grill twice we loved it so much. Bryan actually got a beef filet at the French restaurant that was cooked perfectly. The resort was small so it was easy to walk around to all the places, but some people could look at this as a pro or con. When the resort filled up later in the week, the lobby did get a little crowded.
The evening shows we did not find to be that great, some of them starting at 6-7pm when we were eating dinner. We did go to the Beatles tribute show which was pretty good, Bryan enjoyed the music. We didn't mind missing the shows though, we enjoyed sitting in the lobby area hanging out. They also had a night club we went to twice for dancing later in the night.
In the beginning of the week the seaweed wasn't bad at all, I had a hard time understanding what people were talking about in the reviews. The water wasn't as clear as it used to be, but swimable. However, the last 2 days we got a lot of rain which brought PILES of seaweed in and the water was so bad they had the red flag up not allowing anyone to swim. On our return trip back we sat next to a lady who stayed in Cancun and they also had the seaweed issue. Just something to keep in mind, the waters are definitely not the same as they used to be but i guess the amount of it varies on the beach/water depending on the weather. Even though we had rain, we made the best of it and just relaxed in a Bali bed by the pool.
We also did a "speed boat jungle tour" which I highly recommend! We have both zip lined before and wanted something different. They give you your own little speed boat for 2 ppl that you drive yourself and they take you through the waters of Cancun where you end up in a little roped off area that you can go snorkeling. The waters were so clear and we saw so many different fish and coral reefs, so beautiful.
Overall, I think for the amount we paid we definitely got a nice vacation. I think if we returned we might try a Secrets which is a little bigger and more upscale, this resort was slightly dated. Although for what we were looking for, a relaxing time, gorgeous ocean view we got what we wanted!
We also ran into your friend at the airport, him and his wife were very nice! They stay at a bigger resort it seems with many different parts to it. I had never heard of it, the "Koba" resort maybe? He said to tell you Hello! Alright I will stop by rambling now, thank you for helping us book our honeymoon it was a blast and much needed for the both of us! Talk to you soon. Erika
October 2015 – Dreams Punta Cana
We had a great time at my first destination wedding in Punta Cana. Southwest flight leaving BWI went well, very organized. However, return flight was very unorganized and lots of people pushed their way through the crowd to get on the plane first even though many of us had paid for priority seating. Southwest blamed it on the airport personnel in Punta Cana. Amstar transfers to and from the hotel were great; it took about 40 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport. The hotel grounds, dining venues, pool and beach area were beautiful. Lots of dining choices and no reservations required even though all of us except the bride and groom didn't have preferred club. The night of the rehearsal we all ate at the Teppanini restaurant. Food was delicious and service was great. The buffet for breakfast had lots of choices both American and Mexican, also ate there one other night. The beach grill was also very good serving burgers, nachos, hot dogs, etc. and the Italian restaurant served pizza during the day as well. The pool was amazing meandering from the lobby down to the beach with swim up bar and another bar along the way that had swings. My favorite spot was a long pond area with a pink flamingoes and koi fish, it was beautiful at night. Lots of walking though. There were 6 buildings and we were in building #3 so halfway between lobby area and beach. Lots of pool activities such as aerobics, games, etc. Entertainment at night was great too. They had the pay per view fight on at the disco on Saturday night and the football game on Thursday night on a big screen out on the beach. However, our one complaint was the rooms. We were on the 3rd floor and there was no elevators and the air conditioning just didn't do it's job well. The refrigerator didn't keep the drinks very cold. They replaced the refrigerator but the second one wasn't much better. Our bride and groom had to be moved several times because of problems with their rooms. The first room had a hole in the ceiling that you could see through. Howard's step mom and her friend moved to another room after the first night due to the steps and 3rd floor. Their second room was very nice down by the pool but they said it smelled musty. The wedding on the beach was fantastic and the reception in an open air restaurant was great as well. They presented a very nice reception and everyone had a great time. The kids club looked nice but there weren't many kids there, I guess due to school just beginning a week or so before the trip. Overall it was a nice resort, but I would definitely tell clients that there is a lot of walking, no elevators, and the rooms need some refurbishing.
July 2015 - NOW Jade, Riviera Maya
Great work! I apologize for the delay in providing this feedback caused by
the totally mind numbing vacation you set up for Bree and I in Cancun. :) I
can't remember the last time we were able to just "shut down" and enjoy just
"being". Having never used a travel agent before, we were not exactly sure
what to expect, but I am back to say "thank you so very much for everything"
and we look forward to doing business with you in the future. You were on
the spot with the accommodations and room choice. The view was spectacular
and we even enjoyed our balcony for reading and short breaks. The resort
was fabulous, the staff were great, and everything from getting off the
plane to departure was taken care of. This was a true vacation. Great
recommendations from you on location, local area, and facilities provided.
The availability of amenities and activities was just as you said they would
be and we never once had to question or stress on what was next, where we
had to go, or be someplace we didn't want to be.
I would recommend you and your services for anyone wanting a "True
Vacation". Thank you again so much and take care.

June 2015 - Dreams Punta Cana
Thanks so much for the wine gift basket. We had a great time in Punta Cana.
The only thing we didn't like about the Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa was
that there are large rock formations in the ocean water at their beach. I
thought this might be good to know for future clients looking for a resort
in Punta Cana. The food there was awesome though. I have heard some other
resorts did not have good food.

July 2015 - Iceland
The large map: most important thing to have. Each hotel we stopped at had detailed maps of the city.
Iceland tour guide packet:
Amazing! Provided history and details of each place as well as distinct directions. Driving the island was stress free.
we really liked at the end of each day the iteneray listed miles and km to each place or select places. The maps in the itenerary were helpful also.
that I will be saving and putting with my album.
Going to Husik hotel the directions say turn
right at the shell. You need to turn left at N1 gas station. Beautiful view at Husik cape hotel
each hotel offered their own charm. Weather it was modern historic country we did enjoy all 7 locations. At hotel hllid we got to feed pigs and horses. Spent alot of time talking with the inkerpers. At hotel lake we played with the local dig ate a the local restaurant and walked down a path and spent time at a lake. In east bay hotel Foss we overlooked the bay into the mountains . Fabulous accommodations a taste of everything
can't wait to return. We would love to go to the northwest peninsula and see the things we missed.
June 2015 - Cabo San Lucas
Our vacation in Cabo San Lucas was wonderful. It is such a beautiful place. Some have heard the story but here it is for those who didn't hear it. Originally I had traded our 3 bedroom timeshare that is one mile from Downtown Disney for a 2 bedroom, two bath with living room and kitchen and plunge pool on balcony at Grand Mayan Los Cabos. They are struck hard by the hurricane back in Sept. and only half half of their rooms finished and were only accepting reservations from their owners so I cancelled and booked at the Posada Real Los Cabos about 4 resorts down from Grand Mayan. This was an older property and the rooms need refurbishing but it has an adobe style charm and i can't say enough about how well the staff treated us, It included domestic bar from 11 a.m til 11 pm daily in the price of the rooms (we had two rooms because my daughter, son-in-law and 4 yr old grandson went with us). They had all inclusive meals if you wanted which we did several days but we wanted to go in San Jose which was in walking distance and eat some days. Meals were buffet and they did have a great grill outside by pool bar. We ate most breakfasts and lunches there ala carte. We found a great little place within walking distance called CJ's New York Deli which served great breakfasts at great prices. the entertainment was also very good, (a band that played mexicn and US several nights, karaoke several nights, maraoche band several nights and a single singer who was preety good several nights). If you are looking for luxury this isn't the resort to stay at but if you are looking for a clean value resort with excellent service it's for you.And the beach and pool had fantastic views. On Wednesday we did a tour to Cabo San Lucas which included pick up from our hotel which was about 20 miles from the hustle bustle of downtown Cabo (which we really enjoyed the quiet rather the all of the young people partying in Cabo). They picked us up at 9 am and took us to the marina in Cabo and we got a glass bottom boat and went out to the arches. One of the most beautiful places in the world, sea lion colony on the rocks and pelican colony. Will post pics on Facebook soon. Then back to the marina that had lots of stores and restaurants and a great mall. But since we couldn't go to the beach out by the arches because of the high tides, the transportation rode us to Medina Beach just about 3 blocks away, a great swimming beach in downtown Cabo, and we spent a couple hours there and headed back to the marina for lunch and shopping (great mall there as well). We ate at Marvel Comics restaurant, great food and Holden loved all of the characters full size and very authentic. We got back to the resort after 3:30 pm so this tour which was only $46 per person and Holden was free was a great price.
Well, towards the end of the week we heard a hurricane was coming but it wasn't supposed to hit til late day on Sunday when we were to leave. However, Saturday night we got a message that our flight for Sunday morning was cancelled. The front desk rebooked for us for Monday, which I thought might be cancelled as well since the storm was supposed to be there through the night. And it was so we didn't get out til Tuesday. Extended vacation and we made the most of it. We weathered the storm which was downgraded to a tropical storm but it got quite wicked on Sunday night, glass doors were shaking lots of wind and rain and we had a bit a rain come in from the glass doors somehow but not bad. We didn't have to shelter but they were prepared for it in the conference room if necessary. Then on Tuesday, getting in Atlanta there were storms and our 5:51 pm flight was cancelled, they put us on a 7:15 which didn't end of leaving until 11:25 pm, thus we got home at 1 am and back to the house at 2:15 by the time we dropped the kids off after picking the car up from Fask Park. Their service was excellent, they were pulling up when we got out of baggage claim.
December 2014 - Secrets The Vine - Riviera Maya, Mexico
I wanted to thank you and let you know how pleased we were with your service. I'm sure it was not easy accommodating so many people, yet there were very few hiccups. I felt very proud of our chosen venue and happy that with your help, we were able to get everyone there safely and efficiently. I heard many of our guest complimenting your business. I know myself, that in the future, I will happily be using your service again. Thank you for helping to make Cait and Mike's wedding so lovely.
October 2014 - Azamara Mediterranean Cruise
Hello to all from Dick and Diana,
Back home safely on Friday nite around 6:30. We had a wonderful trip, flawless weather, all arrangements went well – we give credit to Diana’s Destinations for helping make a very memorable journey for all of us. For the next day or so, we will be catching up – pretty tired last night, and I am still on Rome time, which is why I am doing e-mail at 5:00am on Sat.
We will have some comments, bits of information, etc. in a day or so.
In the interim, many, many thanks.
Dick and Diana
October 2014 - Azamara Mediterranean Cruise
We have returned from our Azamara cruise from Spain to Italy and want you and Kami (please share with her) to know that our trip was wonderful. Our excursions, hotels and transfers occurred flawlessly.
The Viator tours were well organized and the guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. We highly recommend them. Our segway excursion in Barcelona was a blast ! My husband and I climbed Mt Vesuvius just to prove to ourselves that we could do it.
Interesting to note: the weather in Rome got rather chilly, which we were told is unusual for this time of the year. The hotel had no heat because" the mayor has to give permission for them to turn it on which usually happens mid Nov". Fact or fable, who knows but at least we had some long sleeved shirts and jackets with us. It was all about layers.
Thanks so much for the on board credit and the wonderful gift basket. We sure do appreciate all that you did to make our trip an unforgettable one.

September 2014 - Hawaii
I’ve been meaning to let you know how our Hawaii trip was but I have been real busy with work.
Bottom line, the trip was fantastic – Peggy already wants to go back, especially to Kauai.
You all did a fantastic job in making all the arrangements. We definitely will be using Diana’s Destination for our future travels.
The only glitch in our arrangements, and it wasn’t your fault, is that American Airlines lost Peggy’s airline reservations in their system for our flight on the way out to Hawaii. When we got to the baggage check-in counter for our 7AM flight out of BWI, the agent at check-in said they didn’t have her ticket in their system. It took them 30 minutes to find the tickets in the US Airlines reservation system and then they had to cancel it there and re-issue them in the American Airlines system. It was a good thing we were 2 hours early for the 7AM flight.
As far as the hotel accommodations in Hawaii, the Marriott resort in Kauai was beautiful and the arrangements were awesome – including the breakfast package that was included (pool was very nice too). We weren’t impressed with the hotel/resort ion Maui. It was old and kind of run down and we had to change rooms at check-in to upgrade our room to an ocean front view because the standard room we had reserved looked into the side of another building right next to us and was on one of the lower floors – it had no view. Of course this upgrade cost us another ~$280.00 for the 4 nights, but we had no choice.
Peggy and I look at it as we now know what to specifically ask for in the way of room accommodations for future trips.
Once again, overall we were very pleased with the trip and all the arrangements you made – even down to the greeter at the Kauai airport – nice touch. We also liked the Champaign in the room in Kauai for our anniversary.
So from Peggy and I – we want to say thank you very much for doing such a great job and that we will be calling you for our future trips!

NOW Larimar – Punta Cana - March 2014
Hi, Leigh and girls,
Sorry I'm so late in getting back to you. My mom's been sick and it's been a rough week for her.
The resort NOW Larimar was absolutely beautiful. We were treated like royalty as they are very welcoming to their guests. The excursion to Saona Island was well worth the money. It took over an hour to get there, but we were served rum and coke the entire time and they got us all up to dance. There was a buffet lunch on the island and I had a massage on the beach. It was fun! On the way back to the resort, we stopped and got in the water and were able to hold a live starfish. That was neat. Back at the resort, we went parasailing, participated in some of the daily exercise classes in the pools, ate lots of food and drank lots of alcohol!! We went to the Japanese restaurant, Spice, and the Italian restaurant, Capers, which is actually right outside the resort (near Secrets-they take you over in a golf cart and we walked back). Both of these were absolutely wonderful - delicious food. I also had a facial at the Spa which was also wonderful. (As you can see, it was all about me for my BD!) The nightly entertainment was also terrific. They definitely have a talented staff as they are like the staff on cruise ships - you see them as waiters, you see them in the lobby and then you see them at night at the shows. All of us would definitely recommend the resort and we hope to return some day.
Now, I'll give you the bad news. When they took us to our rooms and we looked out the patio door, we were overlooking what looked like someone's back yard and their laundry was hanging on the line. We immediately told the staff we were not happy as we had paid for a "deluxe garden view". I told the staff "You have four people who have spent almost $8,000 on this trip. Would you like to pay $8,000 and come to the US and see our laundry on the line?" They, of course, said no. Unfortunately they did not have any other rooms available so we had to wait until late in the afternoon on Sunday before we could switch rooms. Therefore, we could not unpack and it was a little disheartening with the inconvenience. We actually ran into another couple who had the same problem and they were not able to be switched until Tuesday, I think. We were wondering if you could contact Apple to see if they could possibly give each one of us (maybe) a credit on our credit cards for the inconvenience. This is one thing you may need to stress when making the reservations in the future for the deluxe garden view is that it is actually a garden view. We literally moved across the hall. Once we got our new room, the view was overlooking the pools and the "garden" area and it was beautiful.
Thanks for your assistance with this trip and we hope to make plans with you again in the future!

NOW Larimar - Punta Cana – February 2014
Hey there we got back from Punta Cana on Friday and we had a great time. We really liked the hotel and would definitely go back and recommend it to others.
We stayed in the Garden area which was a short golf cart ride away from the main area. At first it kinda seemed like that may be a pain in the tail, but it was literally a 1-2 minute golf ride and it always seemed like there was a golf cart ready to pick you up. The Garden area was nice because it was quiet. There was a pool and a bar out in this area. We had a ground level room so we looked out at the pool and could literally take 10 steps and be at the steps to go into the pool. It was nice that you had this option if you wanted to get away from the main crowd. However, we didn't really use this pool because we like being at the beach. At this area was also the Italian restaurant Capers as well. This restaurant was open for the breakfast buffet and then at night it turned into the Italian restaurant. The rooms were a nice, very simple. A bed and a desk area not much else. The bathroom and shower were separate so someone could shower while the other person could go to the bathroom. The sink and vanity area were all separate from the bathroom and the shower as well. The rooms were kept very clean and you had housekeeping in the morning and turndown service at night.
The restaurants were all good. We did not eat at the French one, but hit the Italian, Mexican and Japanese-- all which were very good. We did not have to make reservations for the Italian or the Mexican, but if you wanted to go to "spice" the Japanese restaurant and wanted the table where they cooked in front of you needed to make reservations. It was nice but not like the ones here where they do all kinds of tricks and put on a show. Here they cooked in front of you . But the food at all of these was delicious. We were told that if you went around 7 to the restaurants you may have to wait, but we never did. It was just 2 of us so maybe that was a difference, but it seemed like everyone was getting seated. We ate at the buffets for breakfast and occasionally lunch. No complaints there either :)
The drinks were good. I had read on a review that the drinks were watered down, but I beg to differ!! Sometimes I had a hard time getting the drink passed my nose because they were too strong!! They laughed when I asked for a little more sprite to make my drink drinkable!! They had all kinds of liquor... Stoli to Greygoose to the Dominicain Rum. Service was always quick and friendly! The only beer were were able to get was the island beer which was the Presidente beer- I was not a big fan of that. If you were in the preferred club I think you had to go to the preferred bar area to get Coors light, Hinekin and Corona or Budwiser.
We did not upgrade to the Preferred club and I think that it was okay that we didn't. I walked over to the "preferred" area pool and was not impressed with it. I liked the main pool and thought that there were plenty of spaces to sit. I know that the preferred got free wifi but not quite sure what we missed out on as we were very happy with everything that we were entitled to.
The whole resort was very clean and friendly. Everyone was very helpful and always asking if you needed anything. We were always able to find seats at the beach and the pool area when we needed to. The entertainment was good. We saw a show one night and it was excellent. The other nights we sat at the bar and met up with another couple.
I really liked this resort and would definitely go back to this one again when we do go back. Really liked that you did not need reservations for the restaurants and that you did not have to wear any kind of braclet to let them know you were staying there. Everything went very smoothly and was hassle free :) Thanks again for helping us plan the trip!!
Hawaiian Honeymoon - January 2014
We just wanted to thank you, Kami, and your team for all of your help with our Honeymoon! It was absolutely amazing! The upgrades at the Moana Surfrider and Marriott Kauai were outstanding, along with the gifts of champagne (both places!) and strawberries in Kauai (and honeymoon welcome and drink vouchers at the Hyatt).
We also just received the Ghirardelli tower at our house as the welcome home gift...wow, thank you!! Joe has cracked into the chocolate covered pretzels. :)
Again we had a wonderful trip, and I actually plan to write up notes about each location, if you're interested, in case it is helpful for future reference regarding travel to Hawaii in January (we highly recommend it!). All of the tips and recommendations you gave us regarding Hawaii were immensely helpful in creating our wonderful trip, and perhaps some of our notes could come in handy too. I'll send that soon.
Oh! and a friend of ours is recently engaged and planning an October honeymoon to Hawaii. She saw our posts during our honeymoon and asked our travel agent's name, so we immediately referred her to you. I really hope she contacts you!

Occidental Grand Aruba - January 2014
Just wanted to let you know our group of ten had a wonderful trip to Aruba. Your planning and organization allowed our group to focus on fun and not all of the tiny details that go into planning a trip like ours. The resort (Occidental Grand Aruba) was beautiful and the staff could not have been more helpful.
I have already recommended your travel agency to some friends. Thank you so much for a job well done!

9 Day Irish Spirit Tour – September 2013
Thank you for the beautiful and delicious welcome home gift. We had a wonderful time in Ireland. All arrangements worked; thank you for your expert planning. Ireland was unseasonably warm and we had very little rain (luck of the Irish). We would highly recommend CIE Tours, they did a great job of sharing the past, present, and future of Ireland for us.
Diana’s destinations has never let us down, whether it is a bus trip or an international excursion.
Best regards, Cheryl and Richard
Germany/Austria FIT – September 2013
Thank you so very much for your very lovely gift basket! :-)
Our trip was wonderful (except that my husband's father passed away while we were in Munich so, therefore, my late reply to you upon our return).
The hotels were A+ and I would recommend them as the very best to any of your clients (and will on my networks as well.).
The train reservations were great too. The tour guides in Munich, Salzburg , and Vienna were all super as well - except the tour guide for our Eagles Nest tour did not stop in Berchtesgaden ( not on his itinerary)which we were so looking forward to visiting .
Austrian Airlines was the absolute (!) very best of any -numerous multiple ones -that we have flown on domestic or international carriers.
Hope to catch up with you soon w/ more details -- all good except Key Tours might want to consider changing transportation companies in Vienna. The p/up was 1/2 hour late at the train arrival station as was the p/up from the hotel back to the airport (lots of excuses) . We've traveled internationally many times before and I’ve personally booked drivers without any delays/ problems so Key might appreciate the feedback.
Many thanks again for all of your assistance to ensure that our trip and tours were wonderful!
Classic Fall Foliage Globus Tour – September 2013
Here is the picture you requested. It was taken outside the hotel we stayed in Sturbridge, MA. There was this beautiful lake with the water so still it reflected the buildings in the background. Later we visited Old Sturbridge Village.
We really enjoyed the Fall Foliage Tour. We did luck out with the timing. The leaves were pretty much at their peak color. This made it an exceptionally pretty drive through the country side. We also were the last tour to go through Arcadia National Park before it shutdown. The tour director was quite knowledgeable and provided continual comments on the scenery and points of interest. This tour is highly recommended to anyone wishing to see the fall colors in New England.
Once again thank you for the thoughtful gifts at the final stop and upon our return to Sykesville.

Secrets St. James - Jamaica - July 2013
We had a wonderful time in Jamaica on our honeymoon
1. The most memorable part of our trip was definitely the romantic dinner on the beach. It was such a romantic setting and the server was FANTASTIC. He was so helpful and respectful when we were eating or chatting. It was nice to choose our meal before we went so we didn't have to take time to do that the night of the dinner. We were nervous the dinner may be postponed because it had thunder-stormed for a couple hours that day but the server actually called us in our room a couple times to check in and let us know we were still ok for the dinner.
2. We would definitely recommend this package/trip to other people. We really enjoyed being in the preferred club on the St. James side of the resort. It was more secluded and quiet. If we wanted to go over into the mix of the louder more eventful groups we could but we mostly decided to stay on the quiet side. There was a separate pool and beach area for us as well. We had a full bar available to us at all times (top shelf liquor). There were always snacks/treats in the same area as the full bar (only available to preferred club members).
3. We liked that we had the freedom to make our own schedule throughout the day. There were many choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There was a wide span of time in which we could eat each meal. We liked that the servers walked onto the beach to serve drinks too. Every person we came in contact with at the resort was extremely helpful and happy. Anytime we walked by an employee of the resort we were asked if we were doing alright and if we needed anything, it was definitely a pampered feeling!
4. We didn't participate in any excursions...we really enjoyed lounging by the pool or beach each day. We did participate in the snorkeling that was included in the resort (free of cost). It was amazing and the tour guide was great in pointing out different fish/coral reef.
5. We had an amazing time at the Himitsiu (spelling?? The hibachi grill). We made reservations to sit at the chef's table which was definitely worth it! We were asked when we checked in upon arrival if we wanted to make the reservation. The servers and staff at the restaurant were so fun and energetic! They made the meal like a show and it was great! We really enjoyed the Mexican restaurant too. We went there twice and got the same thing both times. The service was fast and the chips and salsa were very tasty!
6. I can't think of anything we would have changed about our trip. It was my husbands first time out of the country and he seemed to really enjoy the experience. I think if we went again we would go for less days and plan some excursions. We may plan more trips to the spa too. We had a spa package included in our trip but it seemed like only a taste of what the spa really had to offer. It was so nice but we would have enjoyed a longer time there. :)
7. When we left from the airport in Jamaica we were waiting in line for a significant amount of time. It seemed like it was the airport staff whom had difficultly figuring out how to put everyone in lines to move through quickly. There were a lot of people leaving at the same time to different places in the US, we were all in the same line. We were a bit stressed because after standing in line for that amount of time we only had 10 minutes before we were to board the plane. I am glad we got on the correct transportation at the correct time because if not I fear we would have missed the flight. I was a bit confused about which transportation to get on back to the airport. I am not sure if I missed it in the paperwork somewhere or not. The resort staff was a bit confused too, like I said it all worked out it was just a little stressful.
I attached two photos if you would like to post them or use them. :) I can send you others if you need them. I was looking through my photos and I don't have many of both of us because I felt bad asking people to take our photo. We really appreciate your help to book our trip...we had an amazing time and enjoyed every minute of it! We are hoping to make plans for another trip in the future!
Royal Caribbean's Rhapsody of the Seas - Alaska - July 25, 2013
Hello. I want to thank you for all the help you gave us for our cruise to Alaska. It was amazing and beautiful! I want to go back and see more!! The cruise was so much fun! Royal Caribbean is so nice. The rooms, food, and especially the staff. They were all so nice. I highly would recommend this cruise to everyone!!
All of the transfers that you had set up for us were great also! Very nice, informative drivers. I also would recommend the hotel you had booked for us in Seattle, Holiday Inn Express. It was so clean and very close to a lot of places we wanted to see. Thank you all so much for your help!! I will recommend Dianas Destinations to everyone I know! Diane

They have a wonderful team of professional agents that go the extra mile to make sure that you have all of the information you need when planning a vacation. It is really nice to have a team of experts to take the guess work out of the process instead of getting stuck at a point and click site. I highly recommend Diana’s Destinations”. Brian
Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas – W. Caribbean – July 2013
We had a great time on our cruise. Thank you & your staff again for taking care of all the details so things went very smoothly. No problem with the flights, transfers to & from the pier & checking in on the ship. You picked a great room for us & we loved having a balcony! We still are so inexperienced with this being our 2nd cruise, but I think unless there's some good reason not to, we will want a balcony on any future cruises. We loved all the shows. Of course, I especially liked the 2 Broadway- style ones. There was a great band from the Philippines who could play just about any request (most of their repertoire was 60's & 70's.) The dinners were fantastic & I almost cried saying good-bye to our waiter from Bali. The 1st night they put a couple & their daughter with us because they didn't have an assigned table but the rest of the week it was just Dale & I at a table for 6. The beach we went to at Labadee, Haiti was ok for sunbathing but the water was cold & there were fairly big rocks in the water. We walked around to the other side & thought maybe that was nicer but later heard kids couldn't use the (ocean)water park because of jellyfish. Many shops there with artisan crafts. W didn't go to the Falls in Jamaica because Dale's not fond of crowds. But we liked our mountain rafting excursion. Just 2 people on the back of a 30-foot bamboo raft with 1 guy steering it with a pole. Our guide told us about the plant & animal/bird life we were seeing. Then we were on a wagon pulled by a tractor & learned all about the banana plant. (A very small banana plantation.) They served us a nice jerk chicken lunch & then we tasted banana & coffee liqueurs & freshly- made Pina Colatas. There were just 11 people in our group. At Grand Cayman, we took a small boat out to the mangroves & learned about the plant life there/ saw lots of iguanas. (We had done a kayak tour to the mangroves at St. Thomas on our 1st cruise but you tend to forget some info & I think this guide was more informative.) Then our van drove us to see some of the cottages, the town of Hell & a short stop at 7-mile beach. I was brave at Cozumel & we did the Snuba. I'm not real fond of being under water but I tried it. Had some Mexican food & beers at a little hut bar right beside the Snuba place. On the ship, besides the shows & pool, we played mini-golf, shuffleboard, a little slot machine playing & took a backstage tour of the main theater. Not too exciting, but relaxing! Let me know if you want any more details about anything. Thanks again for your service & the $25 credit. Linda
Bermuda - Coco Reef - March 2013
We got back from our Bermuda trip on Monday. It was absolutely awesome! You and your team did such a great job of setting everything up for us. I think we had the best room in the entire hotel!!! Many, many thanks – the trip was wonderful.
Norwegian Sky – January 2013
Our cruise was so awesome!!!!!!!!!!! We loved it! Everything was perfect. Thanks so much again for your help and answering all of my questions. You guys are great! Can't wait to do it again!
RIU Palace Bavaro – Punta Cana – January 2013
We had a wonderful time in Punta Cana---the resort was everything we hoped it would be and then some. From our night at BWI Sheraton to our return ride home, everything was perfect. Staff & service at the RIU Bavaro was great. Thank you for your service. On my birthday, Fri, 1/11 we received balloons, champagne & fruit ---I think you arranged this ---THANK YOU! I was shocked. It was very nice of you to make my day more special.
We are going to continue taking trips and will look to you for your expertise.
Sandal's Montego Bay - June 2012
Sorry it took so long for the feedback from our trip to Sandals Montego Bay Jamaica, it has been rough getting back into the reality of being home. Our trip was absolutely wonderful and everything we hoped it would be. The staff were so nice and friendly it was hard getting used to being treated like royalty the first couple of days! Our room was cleaned everyday with the cutest towel designs left on our bed and our fridge was restocked daily. They even knocked to see if we wanted them to come turn down our bed! I loved the hotel entertainment committee, they were wonderful and absolutely hilarious. It was not hard finding activities to do, in fact we didn't get everything done we wanted too! We did many excursions including the white witch canopy zipline, swimming with the dolphins at Dolphin Cove, climbing Dunns River Falls, and a reggae catamaran cruise. The guides on every tour was absolutely amazing! Everyone seemed to love their jobs and were friendly so much that when we returned to America we were dumbfounded by how cruel people seemed. We loved every restaurant except the Stewfish, we were not very impressed. The only thing that we found to be a little annoying was we were placed right in front of the wedding gazebo, but we were hardly in our room that much and everything else was so wonderful that it was not important to take the time to complain! There were no bugs to worry with except on the zipline and food was always available. The bartenders would make you little flowers out of napkins and always seemed to know what you wanted. People would remember you and say hi with a smile every time you walked by! This was our first time out of the country and we are now avid about travelling much more! We really wanted to tour the Rose Hall haunted house but there wasn't an excursion to do so. Everything was wonderful and we are already looking at places to travel to next year! Thank you so much for working with us. Our most wonderful and memorable first international vacation would never have been made without Dianas Destinations!!!

RIU Tropical Bay - June 2012
Our trip was fantastic! The resort was absolutely perfect and we had first floor rooms right on the beach. Because it was at the far end, there was not even a sidewalk between us and the beach, so it was very nice and private. The rooms were great and they checked us right in. The kids had adjoining rooms and we were right down the hall. The food was good. The specialty restaurants were especially good and the service was great everywhere. I don’t have the number with me now, but I’m going to email you the phone number for the driver that we used. He took us to Rick’s Café one day and to a blue hole up in the mountains another day. He was a great driver and very informative about the island. Way better option than booking any of the Apple excursions.
Thank you so much for the gift card. We’ve not yet used it but I am looking forward to it.
Sandals Negril - April 2012
Not to be repetitive…I just love how you transact business. We’re lucky to have found you.
Thanks a million times Leigh….
Italy & Sicily – Gate1 and Globus Tours - September 2011
Buon Giorno Leigh,
Sorry it has taken me a while to get this to you...I am still trying to catch up. As you know, the whole trip to Italy and Sicily was FABULOUS! We really enjoyed the time on our own in Rome and the excursions to the catacombs and Tivoli were very interesting. The tour guides were informative. We walked from the hotel to meet the excursions, which was convenient. The Grand Hotel Palatino is in a great location. The hotel staff was very helpful with directions and recommendations for dining. The first night we found out from our waiter at a nearby restaurant that the hotel staff called ahead while we were walking there to let them know we were coming. We enjoyed complimentary Limón cello there after dinner! The next night, we walked to another restaurant near the hotel. The owner recommended dishes for us and also sang with the guitarist so we enjoyed live music while we drank and ate! Thanks for making the arrangements in Sicily too. The service at Le Callete was excellent. Our aunt and uncle have stayed there multiple times so they knew some of the staff. We spent a lot of time with our family, which was wonderful! They showed us around town. We saw where our grandfather lived as a child, where our mom lived as a child, where they washed clothes, the barber shop where our grandfather worked (which is now a video store), and the church where our grandparents got married, our mom was baptized and had her first holy communion. We went to Mass there too. We were treated to many delicious home cooked meals- there were 24 of us around the table! It truly was fantastic! Our family went on a tour of the Santa Anastasia winery. The food and wine were delicious! We also enjoyed swimming in the Mediterranean. Needless to say, we did not want to leave and the family did not want us to leave either. Lisa and I continued on to the Globus tour of Northern Italy and Cinque Terre which was fantastic! We enjoyed the time on our own before the tour began. We walked a lot to see the sights in Milan and took the hop-on hop-off bus. We sat in the piazza of the duomo at night. It was spectacular to see the church lit up. The stained glass windows are beautiful! The tour director was funny and the driver was from Sicily so we had a special bond with him, talking about families. We saw a lot of beautiful places and went on all of the optional excursions. We wanted to see as much as we could. The dinners were excellent- delicious food and wine! We had dinner and dancing at a winery. Cinque Terre is beautiful!! We stopped in a few of the villages and met wonderful people. We even met another Sicilian who owned a cafe. He said he would find a place for us to stay on our next visit. We stayed in Santa Margherita Ligure and had a beautiful view of the sea from the hotel. We took the boat to Portofino which had a pretty coastal view. We had beautiful weather- sunshine every day! I would recommend Globus and the excursions. The only change I would make to the trip would be to make it longer!! I saw on the Globus website that for 2012 they are offering an extension to Lake Maggiore. I would definitely take that!! I also wish I had gotten tickets in advance to see The Last Supper in Milan. We went on our own before the tour began, but it was sold out. The woman there said tickets should be purchased in advance because it sells out. We were literally on the other side of the wall from it! I suggested that Globus include it as part of the tour. But for us, it is another reason to go back!!
We are saving up for our next trip to Italy ...and there will definitely be a next time!! In the meantime, we have to start planning another trip. We need to have something to look forward to!
Ciao Ciao Ciao,
Jennifer & Lisa
Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar – Riviera Maya Mexico – September 2011
We had a fabulous time, as usual. Everything went so smoothly. Flights, transportation and resort were perfect. The employees could not have been better. The place was empty! This was great in the way that we always had our choice of beach and pool chaises. No towel tricks needed. The down side was that some restaurants were closed; the pool bar near our building was closed, etc. We didn’t care! We requested Bldg. 14 and all eight of us were together. We had to go to the Paraiso Beach for all buffet meals. We didn’t care! None of us minded the walk and the pool and beach were very close to our rooms.
We still love Mexico! Thanks so much for our 6th fabulous vacation that you planned!
Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas – Bermuda – October 2011
Most memorable - We were celebrating my mother's 90th birthday. She enjoyed herself so much and that made the trip a success for me. We met so many nice, friendly people.
I would definitely recommend Royal Caribbean to others; the ship was clean, the activities fun, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I loved it!
We took the Island Bus ride in Bermuda. Our driver was wonderful - talked for 5 hours and showed us EVERYTHING on the whole island.
I can't really think of anything I'd change. The stateroom was fine and in a good location. We enjoyed the shows, the casino (except for the smoking there) and the many music groups. The food was fine considering that they were cooking for 2000+ people.
London, England FIT – November 2011
I would definitely recommend the packages we bought to others. My favorite excursion was probably the bus trip to Windsor Castle, Bath , and Stonehenge . If I had more time, I would recommend two separate trips. I would have liked more time in Bath. Windsor Castle was fantastic; not to be missed in a trip to England! Unfortunately, photos are prohibited there. I've always wanted to see Stonehenge, but have to admit that I was a bit underwhelmed.
If I did this again, I would not buy the Hop on Hop off tickets in advance. Things happen, and this can be bought almost anywhere, with more flexibility not buying ahead of time. I was very pleased with our seats on the Euro star train, which took us to Paris. I had heard that one should upgrade to first class, but I was more than pleased with the standard ticket. Seats were spacious, with the top of the chair back curved to rest your head against. It had two seats on each side of the aisle; sufficient leg room, and a footrest.
We opted for the shorter 3 hour tour of Paris, which turned out to be our party and one other couple in a minivan. Our driver had a headset, and was quite knowledgeable. In hindsight, I would elect a longer tour, as I enjoy learning the history, but this worked out well, and I would recommend it. I also enjoyed our cruise on the Seine, which was included in the tour, and would definitely recommend this.
We purchased the Oyster card online before leaving, and I would recommend this for anyone traveling to London! The card works on all public transportation; the tube as well as the double decker bus. It is good to have in hand upon arrival, and takes about two weeks to arrive in the mail after you order it online. I bought the 30 pound card, but ended up "topping up" by adding money to it in the tube station. This was a good way to use up my coins, which are otherwise not particularly useful.
I was very pleased with the hotel that you found for us: the Melia White House. It is an older building which has been refurbished. I got there early, and they upgraded my room. (Not sure what it would have otherwise been.) There was plenty of room in the bathroom, but the hot water in the shower was only a dribble. Not sure what the problem was there. The wall outlets had both American, as well as UK power, which was nice. Since I had two adapters that gave us four outlets to work with, which was nice. I plugged my hairdryer into an adapter, but when I turned it on, it blew out the dryer, as well as a fuse in the room. I have spoken with several other people that this happened to, so I guess it is common. Luckily, Nanette's hairdryer worked. I brought mine home, but it is dead, and had to be thrown out. Recommendation: bring a low wattage dryer. There was not one that came with the room. They also gave us a nice plate of fruit and a small box of chocolates the first night. Regardless of how late we slept, or how early we left the room, it had always been cleaned by the time we returned. We didn't have a sign to hang on the door, so I don't know how they did that! There was always a doorman to hold the door as we entered or exited the hotel.
Last but not least, I am so, so glad that I bought insurance from you! My concern was medical, due to the issues I've been having with arthritic knees. I powered through that, but used the lost or stolen luggage clause due to my iphone being pick pocketed. I am so pleased that they will cover it! I am lucky that I was able to find the receipt from when I bought the phone, as that is required. I am just waiting for the police report to come through, as that is the other requirement. I filed the report online with the London police, and am just waiting for my email confirmation. I knew to keep my purse close, but I stupidly put the iphone in an outer pocket, as I was using it to tell time. That evidently put a target on my back.
Secrets Wild Orchid – Jamaica – November 2011
We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip to Jamaica. This resort was beautiful, just like the pictures on their website. Our room was big, comfortable, and had a great view of the beach and pool area. We saw at least one wedding a day at one of the gazebos located at the beach. We did not take part of any excursions on this trip because we wanted to relax and rejuvenate. We were welcomed with a "Welcome Home" and a glass of champagne, which was very nice. The weather was great around 85 degrees (November 12th-17th). The food at the restaurants was good not great, with immediate availability for a table to a 30 minute wait. This was not a problem, since we were not in any hurry; we got a drink and walked around enjoying the sights and sounds until our table was available. The most memorable part of our trip was the view from our balcony and the entertaining wait staff at the pool/beach.
We would recommend this resort and would take this trip again.
Sandals Emerald Bay – Exuma, Bahamas – November 2011
It was F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S! The resort was clean, the staff was accommodating and the food was wonderful. And the beach - oh, the beach!! We made a few mistakes - we didn't book dinner in the 2 fancy restaurants early in our visit so we missed out on them, we made our golf tee time for 1pm so the setting sun caused some sight problems and there was no beer available on the golf course! Other than those 3 things everything was perfect. The room was so nice and they took such good care of us. How much extra would a butler have cost us?
We went on a terrific boat ride - Thunderball 007 - on Thursday. It cost us $750 for a full day of boating, sightseeing, eating, drinking, and swimming. They offered snorkeling but neither Mel or I are coordinated enough to breathe thru our mouths!! Anyway, we swam with pigs on one of the stops, fed Iguanas on another stop, had a great lunch at Staniel Cay Marina and then swam with sharks!! The captain and his first mate (son) were native Bahamians and had all kinds of facts and stories for us. Plus rum cake!! It was really a great day.
I remember you telling me it was one of the more laid back Sandals Resorts but it fit us just fine. There was some fun entertainment and we met some really nice people. The woman that was the manager of the Drunken Duck Pub - can't remember her name - was so friendly and interesting.
The lovely photo album you sent is full of great pictures. Thank you so much for the service and advice.
So, thanks again for all you've done. Sandals is definitely in our future travel plans.
Sandals Grand Riviera Jamaica – December 2011
Butler Service: It was a great experience. They give you a private tour of the resort, unpack your bags (only at your request), book all reservations, and deliver room service (or set up a dinner on your balcony or patio - you can order from any restaurant on the resort). You can only get room service at the Grande Riviera if you have a butler. They also stocked our fridge each day with fresh fruit, cheese, and crackers. The Riviera is a huge resort and if you're staying on the manor side, the butler will pick you up in a golf cart and drive you to your destination (if you don't have a butler you can catch the jitney - which we did many times and it was no big deal). We carried around a cell phone and could call for a ride, drink, meal, etc. anytime. Many days/nights when we returned to our room we found candles, music, flower petals, hot baths, chilled champagne, cookies, and many other surprises from the butlers. The butlers took us to each dinner and made sure that we didn't wait and they had a table reserved and waiting (other guests cannot make reservations unless they have a butler). We also received preferred seating at dinner (always near a window, by the beach, etc.). The butlers will also reserve you chairs at the pool or the beach for the day.
The Resort itself was great. It did not compare to St. Lucia (but we knew this going in!). It has been recently renovated and is beautiful! The nightly entertainment was better than St. Lucia (Jamie's Sports Bar was always rockin' until 2am!). The playmakers were great (always getting people to dance at night at Jamie's). We sang karaoke and danced a lot during the vacation! Taking the jitney from the manor side to the beach side was no big deal and we never waited more than 5 minutes to catch a ride. It was nice to be on the manor side and get away from everything but we also wouldn't mind staying on the beach side. There was a great mix of people (all age ranges) and we met lots of nice people. Even though it's a large resort, most of it is just rooms and the actual common areas to hang out weren't all that big (we ran into a lot of the same people throughout our stay - which we enjoyed). We would definitely go back and being that it's the cheapest Sandals resort, it's definitely worth the price!
Couples Swept Away Jamaica – December 2011
We are home, safe and sound. The trip was wonderful. More than I expected. The resort was really amazing.... Staff was exceptional, beaches were beautiful, food was all homemade and individually made to order. So, so good.
The rooms were contemporary and the grounds were beautifully kept. We were 15 feet from the beach with a verandah that had a little kitty cat who came quietly sitting outside the glass door every morning looking for milk from Scott's coffee service.
Not many Mosquitoes, certainly no roaches, nothing. It was weird. They must spray.
It was a big campus type place with a mile of beach and lots of paved trails in between each condo which led you to the pavilions, restaurants, pools, etc. if you didn't want to take the beach.
We sailed, snorkeled and water-skied, ate, drank, floated in the ocean, swam in the pools, walked the pristine beach at night in the moonlight.
It was awesome. Scott and I had a wonderful trip. The resort took care of us from the moment we stepped out of customs. It was an hour ride from the airport but "no worries man, we take care of you" is what they said and then proceeded to do.
We learned this resort has a 40% retention rate. If you come back, you have a dinner with the other returners and the general manger. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I've never seen so many guests cajoling with the staff and taking pictures. They knew our names from day one. When Scott and I decided to walk the beach beyond our resort, a guard appeared out of nowhere to take our names and room number in case we didn't return!! The place next door was a Sandals resort then it was a public beach, where absolutely no one hassled us, and when we returned I started to walk to the guard but he waved me off and crossed our name off his list. We were impressed, felt watched over. It was nice.
Such a great trip- so happy we did it.
Grand Palladium White Sands, Riviera Maya - 2010
We would like to thank you for the wonderful trip we just had at the Riviera Maya. The Grand Palladium was an excellent choice for a great vacation. They put us at the Riviera in a Junior suite and I we were in a great location for the beach and the pool. We went on three trips and Apple Tours were very helpful, however the trip to Cozumel was our least favorite. Chichen-Itza and Tulum-Xeh-al were very nice. During our stay at the resort, we eat at the different restaurants but we enjoyed the Kabah buffet the best because they weren't crowded and they had so many different foods to chose from. Being in an all inclusive resort (including all drinks) made the trip feel more of a vacation. We, definitely, recommend this trip to others and will possibly return again although we might consider more the very end of September or the beginning of October. Thanks again for all your help.
Paul & Sara
ps. We used your little handbag extensively at the beach.
Thank you for the newsletter! I loved the opening and you make a great point. Jeff and I were able to find the same exact Sandals package for a little cheaper, but it was worth paying a little more to work with you. Just from talking with you, I can tell that you care about our vacation and that all of the details will be taken care of. You get what you pay for, and if you ask me, it's worth a little bit more for peace of mind from you!
We cannot wait for June 2011. Thank you again.
Irish Heritage Tour, CIE Tours, 2010
"Thank you" so much for our travel plans to Ireland . Absolutely the best Anniversary ever. The hotels were top notch and because you request the double beds we had awesome rooms.
1. Most memorable Part of Vacation- Cliffs of Moher- Beautiful
2. Recommend- Absolutely- Declan and Pat were very knowledable and answered all of our questions.
3. What did we like the best- Sheep dog herding- amazing
4. Did you participate in any excursions- we did book a carriage ride thru Kilarnery.
5. Restaurants to recommend? All the ones in the tour package had excellent food
6. Recommend excursion to others?- Absolutely- we went the the park and saw a Castle we would not of seen.
7. Changes- Maybe stop in Galway- heard from locals it is very very pretty
8.Problems- None- other then Delta overbooked all the flights except the commuter flight we left BWI on. they offered 800.00 pp and hotel stay and food to change your plans- we were worried they would bump us.
All was good in the end. Thanks again for all your help!
Le Blanc Spa Resort, Cancun- 2010
We just got back from Cancun and can't stop talking about it. I have your questionnaire and will respond to it here. Overall, the resort was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS and the beach was wonderful. We probably won't ever stay anywhere else if/when we go back again!
1. The most memorable part of the vacation was how beautiful the beach was and the quality of service/food at the resort.
2. I would recommend the Le Blanc Spa Resort to anyone and everyone!
3. What I liked best was how pampered we were at the resort. We didn't have to lift a finger, make a reservation or even carry a plate of food at the buffet, to our table. Everyone responded, “It is my pleasure" whenever you said thank you to an employee.
4. We went on the Jungle Tour. We drove our own boat to a reef and went snorkeling. It was a blast. We loved the boats and the fish were great. Our tour guide was excellent, pointing out lots of neat fish (octopus, sand shark, baby barracuda). It was about 3-4 hours total so we didn't lose an entire day from the beach/resort.
5. All four restaurants were top notch, 5 star and delicious!
6. I would highly recommend the excursion to anyone!
7. The only changes I would make would be to get out on the strip after dinner and try out some local night life. As much as we loved the resort (and we did), there was no night life, very quiet.
8. No problems, absolutely wonderful!
It was the best vacation I've ever had. Thank you for your help!!
Beaches Negril Resort and Spa - 2010
Thanks for the photo album, it's really nice! To summarize, we had a great time. We would definitely recommend the resort to others. We did not do any excursions because there was so much to do at the resort. The watersports were lots of fun and the staff extremely helpful and friendly.
The biggest complaints: one hour wait to get through customs at the Montego Bay airport, the mosquitoes and the jellyfish. I am very glad we took insect spray and Gold Bond ointment, which worked well on the jellyfish sting.
All of the restaurants were good. It is definitely worth making the reservation for the Japanese hibachi place. The food is good and they give you a little of everything on the menu, so you don't even need to make a selection.
One thing I would consider if we go back again is staying at Sandy Bay instead of Negril. They are only about 15 minutes apart and there is a shuttle that runs continuously every 30 minutes. We noticed quite a few people staying at Sandy Bay who took the bus to Negril and spent the whole day there, to take advantage of the beach activities, water park, and restaurants. It's much cheaper at Sandy Bay so you can save money and still have the better facilities at Negril.
The one problem we did have was that we were supposed to have 2 double beds but when we got there they put us in a king room, which we did not discover until we got to our room. After complaining, they said they would give us a cot and move us the next day, since no doubles were available. They told us our room had been upgraded to an oceanview ( which you could barely see if you stuck your head over the balcony and looked to the right). The concierge said our original room would have faced the highway. We said OK to the king because we were starved and tired at that point, after the long wait at customs. Of course, by the next day we did not feel like repacking and moving. Plus, Collin said the rollaway was comfortable and it was pretty large. It did make the room pretty cramped though. So we stayed with the king and it worked out fine.
We heard a couple other families complaining about getting king rooms, I guess it's a pretty common situation. I don't know if there's anyone you can complain to about that, but that was our biggest problem the whole week. Otherwise, we had a great vacation.
Thanks for all your help!
USA - FIT - 2007/Hawaii - Blue Sky Tours - 2008
We first used Diana’s Destinations for our honeymoon. We had grand plans on what we wanted, and were having a difficult time booking our honeymoon on our own. A friend recommended Leigh, and we were not disappointed. She coordinated our unique honeymoon with little notice. Our honeymoon included a flight to Denver Colorado, a train trip from Denver to Salt Lake City Utah, a romantic cabin outside Zion national park, and three days of fun in Las Vegas Nevada. We were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful yet inexpensive accommodations that she booked for us throughout our trip. She attended to the small details like making sure we had breakfast included in our accommodations or a kitchenette. Her thoughtfulness for our honeymoon included a beautiful photo album in which we cherish.
Our second trip with Leigh was a last minute trip to Hawaii that included a three- island stay. She made sure we received lei’s upon arrival, which was a wonderful start to a fantastic trip. Once again her attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Our inexpensive hotel contained a live orchid, snack basket, DVD player, microwave oven, coffee maker with 100% Kona coffee, continental breakfast, and a short walk to the beach. We couldn’t be happier and she even included a gift card to Red Lobster.
In the wee hours of the morning when we spend several hours attempting to plan our last minute vacations we ultimately give up and call Leigh the next morning knowing she will plan an amazing vacation for us at a great price. Thank you Leigh for saving us at the last minute more then once.
New York City Motor coach Tour - 2006
I just can't thank you enough for the amazing experience. The trip was more than thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. It was unquestionably better than I had expected, thanks to you guys! The bus was very comfortable and clean, we felt completely informed as far as times, places, etc... The kids didn't get a chance to get antsy on the bus because you had so many great activities...and the movies were wonderful for the way home. And thank you so much for making the arrangements for the show and the lunch....they were great!
To top it all off, I think the price was very reasonable considering all that was included.
I can't wait to recommend your business to my friends and family and I really can't wait to make arrangements for another trip!
Norwegian Cruise Lines - Hawaii - 2005
We had a FABULOUS time!!
The best part- THE WHOLE TRIP!!
The worst part- LEAVING!!
We did a lot of shore excursions through the ship which were all great.
The tour operators were so nice. We really enjoyed the helicopter tour
in Kauai and the crater at sunrise in Maui. What beautiful scenery!! I
don't have the photos back yet, but I hope they all turn out. Everyone
we met on the ship was very friendly. We laughed a lot. Although we
have nothing to compare it to (since this was our first cruise), we had
a wonderful time. The free styling worked well for us since we were out
all day. We didn't have to worry about being back at a certain time for
dinner. We usually bypassed the crowds anyway since we ate late (when
we found time to eat...).
We also snorkeled on our own in Kona at Turtle Bay, thanks to the
recommendations of the crew on the ship. It was spectacular- we saw
lots of fish and turtles. We filled every minute of the trip and loved
it all!! We'd love to go back again.
The time spent in Waikiki was wonderful too. The view from the top of
Diamond Head was amazing. Of course, it was fun catching the Ocean Line
trolley too!! There was no time to waste!
To where is our next trip???

Princess Cruise - Western Caribbean - 2003
I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work you put into making
our cruise the most memorable experience of our lives. This was the most
enjoyable vacation we have ever been on. The cruise ship was wonderful and
the islands were fantastic. I don't know if you've spoken to Vickie yet,
but I'm sure that she will verify that Rob and I really made the most of our
time. I think we did just about everything imaginable on that ship. If we
got 3 hours of sleep each night we were lucky. I didn't want to miss a
thing. Besides the great food at all hours of the night, the shows were
terrific. And we really burned the midnight oil at Skywalker's Nightclub.
The stingray excursion was the most awesome thing we have ever done. It was
just crazy seeing hundreds of stingrays swimming with hundreds of people.
And our tour guides were excellent. We even got to hold a stingray.
I'm sure you already know how wonderful these cruises are but since this
was our first one, we can not stop talking about it. We had a blast! I am
really looking forward to doing another cruise in the future (if I can wait
Thanks again for all you did to make this happen!
